Welfaruminant - Dissemination of Animal Welfare practices in farmed ruminants
IMPACT OF THE PROJECT
LOCAL
- In the implementation of the animal welfare protocols to be developed within the scope of the project, the target groups will be the members of local livestock associations (Burdur Cattle Breeders Association, Burdur Sheep and Goat Breeders Association), Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Burdur Chamber of Veterinarians.
- Farmers and herders dealing with cattle, sheep and goats will benefit from the applied and technological knowledge on animal welfare provided by veterinarians and other professional groups, and both local farmers and other farmers and herders in the region will benefit from it.
LOCAL
- Within the scope of "field application days", the leading growers and shepherds of the region will be invited by the project team and this information will be shared.
NATIONAL
- In the implementation of the animal welfare protocols to be developed within the scope of the project, television channels broadcasting in the field of agriculture and animal husbandry at the national level will be used.
INTERNATIONAL
- The international audience will be reached by using social media.
- The EU dissemination platform will use the common innovative curriculum that the project partners will develop in their educational activities in their countries. Meetings will be held that bring together breeders and shepherds.
- Activities to be carried out during and after the project: seminars, workshops, site visits, farmers' days, national and local news broadcasting in the field of agriculture and animal husbandry.
- In order for the project outputs to reach all international stakeholders, the website and the project presentation pages to be created in social media will be published in Turkish, Italian, Portuguese and English.
